This notice describes how b2bcopywriter.net handles personal data. The site is run by the writer behind it, and questions about your data go to[email protected].

Data this site handles

• Enquiries. Whatever you type into the contact form — email, company, format, volume, topic, message — or write to us directly.
• Project material. Documents, figures and interview recordings shared so a piece of writing can be produced, including material about your customers when a case study is commissioned.
• Invoicing details. Company name, address and tax number where an invoice is issued. Card data never reaches our systems and is never stored by us.
• Technical logs. Our host records request data, including IP addresses, to keep the site up and block abuse.
• Aggregate analytics. Page views and referrers. No advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking.

Why

To reply to enquiries, to produce and deliver commissioned work, to invoice, and to keep the site running. The legal basis is the performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

Case study interviews

When a case study involves interviewing your customer, that person is told what the interview is for and approves the text and the figures before publication. Recordings and notes are deleted once the piece is signed off, unless the client asks us to keep them.

Retention

• Enquiries that do not turn into work — one year.
• Project files and correspondence — the length of the engagement plus two years.
• Interview recordings — until the piece is approved.
• Invoices — the period required by tax law.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion, and you will have an answer within one month. Write to [email protected]. If you are covered by the GDPR or UK data protection law, you may also complain to your supervisory authority.

No marketing or profiling cookies are set. The host may set a technical cookie needed to serve pages and to run the spam check on the contact form.
